📖 Let's Read the Story!

Once upon a time, a little girl named Lily received a tiny seed from her grandmother.

“This little seed can grow into a beautiful flower,” Grandma said. “Plant it, water it, and take good care of it.”

Lily was excited. She found a small pot, filled it with soil, and gently planted the seed.

Every morning, she watered the soil and looked inside the pot.

But nothing happened.

“Where is my flower?” Lily asked.

Grandma smiled. “Growing takes time, dear. You must be patient.”

The next morning, Lily looked again. Still no flower!

She felt disappointed.

“I want my flower today!” she cried.

Grandma sat beside her and said, “Can you make a flower open by pulling its petals? No, little one. Some wonderful things need time.”

Lily thought about Grandma's words.

Instead of giving up, she continued caring for the seed. She watered it gently and placed the pot where it could receive sunlight.

One morning, Lily noticed a tiny green shoot poking through the soil.

“Grandma! Look! My seed is waking up!” she shouted happily.

Every day, the little shoot grew taller. Soon, it had green leaves and a strong stem.

Lily continued watering it and watching over it.

After many days, a beautiful pink flower finally opened.

Lily clapped her hands with delight.

“It is even prettier than I imagined!”

Grandma hugged her. “You did a wonderful job. You cared for your seed and gave it the time it needed.”

Lily smiled at her flower. She realised that waiting had not been wasted time. Every day, something was happening beneath the soil, even when she could not see it.

From that day on, Lily remembered to be patient when learning new things, too.

Whether she was drawing a picture, tying her shoes, or learning to ride her little bicycle, she knew that practice and patience could help her improve.

And the tiny seed became her favourite flower in the garden.
